Pulmonary Nontuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM)

Pulmonary NTM infections are the most common NTM infections. Pulmonary NTM infections occur in the lungs as a result from inhalation of airborne particles containing the bacteria. These infections primarily occur in individuals with underlying lung disease.
