Polio Disease Statistics
Polio has been eradicated in the United States. The last case of symptomatic polio in Minnesota was reported in 2008. Up to 95% of polio virus infections are not symptomatic. Polio infections without symptoms are not included in the table below. Continued success depends upon maintaining high immunization rates.
